About the Movie

One man, an actor experiencing discontent with his life and who is also in relapse from drug & alcohol recovery invites himself to head to Los Angeles from New York with a free spirited stand up comedian who is hitting the road to do what he does on stages from PA to the west coast. The two acquaintances having to basically spend every day in each other's company deal with whether or not they can or want to get along with each other. Both have some issues ,detoxing on the road for one and dealing with all that comes with being in show business for the other as well as personal demons from the past for both men. The two make some choices along the way, sometimes good ones and sometimes.....not so much. Funny and touching, there is a little something for everyone in Pancakes & Syrup written by and co-starring Robert Cividanes and Tom Daddario. R&T Films is currently in the process of submitting Pancakes and Syrup to film festivals.

We were fortunate in that we secured some very talented people to make up the crew for this project. Our Cinematographer, Vincent James Carnevale does a beautiful job bringing his talent for telling stories through film to this production and he is also Film Editor on this project. Aayushi Shah is everything we could've hoped for in an Assistant Director, handling all the things that go into having a production run smoothly in a way that is professional and precise while remaining cool-headed and accessible to everyoine involved throughout the entire shoot. Camille "Mac" M. Harris kept us all looking great for the camera as our Hair & Makeup artist. Mac has a great eye for what they do. Gianni Gambuzza handled Sound Mixer/Boom Operator duties giving us clean audio to work with. Gianni is not easily satisfied which is exactly what you want in your Sound Department. Other contributing crew members were, Marianna Guzman Corrales (Hair/Makeup), and Gabrielle Gambuzza, Ryan Metz & James Azzaretti (Sound Mixer/Boom Operators). First time feature film Director, Robert Cividanes is grateful to this hardworking crew for their patience and their fierce commitment to the project making his job so much easier.
